It will weigh you down otherwise. You wouldn't believe how heavy the 12 inch pad is. Also extremely not portable. The 6 inch one is the perfect size. <br />Aside from that, the two different sides are awesome. One is silenced and easy to bounce on, and the other one is better for cleaning up your playing and is a little louder. I also like how it has no rim like my piece of junk old practice pad. <br />Get the 6 inch version of this and you won't be sorry. Rating: 4 / 5 This pad is HUGE… get the 6 inch one. It arrived promptly, and when they say "real feel" they mean it. It has 2 sides, so you can decide how YOU want to practice. It is kinda weighty but it is still a great pad.
